A double extension on the side of the property
with a fitted kitchen and two new bathrooms.

This 1960’s property had not been updated since it had been built, so a new 2 storey extension to the side was added which added 1 large bedroom and large living room space.

The property had an old fashioned hot air heating system so we replaced it with a new combi boiler and new radiators throughout. An additional bathroom was added as was a new utility room and downstairs cloak room. The house was completely rewired to bring up to date with current building regulation standards. The existing kitchen was made larger and a brand new kitchen fitted including tiling of floors.

The final part of project was to completely re-landscape the ground surrounding house.

In 2013 we purchased a small detached house which had been built in 1968. The property itself required total updating and refurbishment including rewiring, new windows throughout and new central heating system as well as changing the original layout. Added to that we also wanted a double extension on the side of the property, a fitted kitchen and two new bathrooms. We now own a spacious family home which we love and which has been admired by all our family and friends, not to mention the neighbours!

Steve Ham is an excellent builder, extremely hardworking, honest and conscientious. He was at our home at 8am every day including most weekends and the project was finished well within the 6 months estimated timescale and to a high standard. Steve used various contractors to deal with the electrics, plumbing and the ground works and landscaping and as well as doing first rate work they were all polite and cheerful and easy to get along with.
