Absolutely faultless...

To be honest I wasn't looking forward to having our extension done after hearing the horror stories that people have. How wrong I was, Steve had been recommended to us by a few people and we certainly weren't disappointed. Our project wasn't straight forward – putting a large extension on the side of our old thatched cottage with differing floor and ceiling levels and the linking part of the extension having to drop below the existing thatch etc. It wasn't going to be easy, but nothing was too much trouble. I work from home so was on-site the whole time and it really was a delight to have the guys here and see the project progress. The finished result is just amazing, we're so pleased with it.

We received a personal recommendation for building work for SJH Construction (Mr Steve Ham). Steve visited our house and gave a very competitive quote. He was punctual, polite and honest. We received his quote for the work quickly and he was always available to discuss amendments and alterations.

He and his team were fantastic with our young children and they loved having them in the house. Steve’s work started on time and was to the highest standard. Our neighbours commented they had never seen a builder so committed to a job and so hard working. All of the members of Steve's team were excellent (electrician, plumber and decorator). Extremely hardworking, honest and conscientious...

 In 2013 we purchased a small detached house which had been built in 1968. The property itself required total updating and refurbishment including rewiring, new windows throughout and new central heating system as well as changing the original layout.  Added to that we also wanted a double extension on the side of the property, a fitted kitchen and two new bathrooms.
